6th assignment-Chichester lecture

There is an annual event in our Beauty Art course of SKU.

Foreign professors visit us and give us their lectures at this time of years.

Last year I took the hair related lectures. It was good and fun.

We learn hair permanent wave, woman hair cutting, barbering, coloring and up-styling.

It was interesting to learn about the skills of Beauty Art in British style.

I thought that it would be also good or better to work in UK as a hair dresser.

Unfortunately I couldn't attend the lectures. 

As I'm in the kind of special class for hair designing, I couldn't follow the original program.

I think it's not good. I hope I can attend and learn the rest of the lectures in our course as it was planed. I want to experience and learn the other things, not only just hair.

In the 2nd grade we supposed to take the lectures about skin and make-up.

My other friends took the lectures from Chichester but I couldn't.

At least I want to attend the lecture about make-up!! :(

But sadly I had to work at the school salon at the moment.

Anyway it's the water under the bridge. I can't call them back.

I hope I can take that new Chichester lectures when I'm in the 3rd grade in SKU.

  

5th assignment-Peer bonding experience ;)

In Korea, there are many kinds of peer bondings such as OT, MT, excursion, etc.
And I have many memories of peer bonding experiences.
Now I'm going to write about the experience that I worked in our Beauty Art Bar in university festival held in last year.

I took this picture when I was working in our school bar.

Last year when I was a fresh man, I worked and helped to run our school bar.

Me and some of my classmates cooked appetizers with drinks.

Some others were in charge of public relations. And seniors took care of money.

Our Beauty Art Bar sold many kinds of drinks and appetizers.

We had soju, beer and I'm not sure we had also makgeolli or not in the menu.

The appetizers were pan-fried Kimchi, pan-fried potato and Odeng-tang (fish cake stew)

In that many kinds of menu, I was in charge of making Odeng-tang.

There were some kinds of ingredients for Odeng-tang that students bought before.

It was first time to make fish cake stew for me, but it was not that difficult.

Only I needed was a pot, stove, water, fish cake, welsh onion, salt, pepper and seasoning ;)

We were very very busy than we expected. 

Many people visited our bar so me and my friends especially in cooking part were so busy.

But it was fun and good. As you can see in the picture many people drank at our bar.

(Of course some people in the picture was in other bars' territory and seats.)

It's pity that I couldn't see the celebrities who came for this year's festival but it's OK.

The experience of last year was also great :) 

4th assignment-Civil rights movement

I think 'Civil rights movement' is an important evenement in America history.

And it's still an issue in Western society.

Because there are still many racial discrimination cases in there.

It's very usual and people don't think it's that serious.

Black people and Yellow people usually receive unfair treats when they are in cases related with White people. 

Yes, people say the world have changed and it's better than the past, 

but not I think it's not perfect yet.

I've heard a lot about Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks, the figures of great worth in Civil rights movement.

Of course, there were more many people who helped and gave an effort to change the world.

I think they are really great and respectable. What could I do if I lived in that time?

I heard the society was full of irrationalities to Black people. I was so upset about that when I studied in world history class.

Last week, I watched a movie, 'The Help' in my English project class.

And I could watch the slice of Black people's life in that period.
The movie was good and told a lot. I could think about the issue again.

I hope the world gets better and better.
And people no matter the White, Yellow and Black all live happy together.
Please, no more segregation.

3rd assignment-Missing Winter ;)

I'm already missing winter. I LOVE winter.

It's still a little bit cold and chilly but I feel sorry that winter is passing through.

It was a kind of long cold winter. And there were lots of pleasant events :)

I like the coldness of winter, also love fashion styles, clothes and sports of winter :D

And snowing weather is fantastic!!  

I feel like go back to my childhood and can faintly remember that times ;)

I think summer and winter is becoming longer and longer. 

It's all because of global warming. Long winter is good news for me but I hate summer.

In summer, it's toooooooooo hot and sweaty. The strong sunlight kills me.

Besides it's congested by many many bugs and worms. 

All kinds of bugs are everywhere. I HATE summer. I like silent winter.

Also I don't like summer fashion style.

Anyway I'm missing winter.

I love watching basketball matches!! It's sooooooo exciting! XD

I was really sad when KBL season finished.

My team, Samsung Thunders couldn't go to playoff, 

so my KBL season finished early.

I hope next 2012-2013 KBL season comes faster than I feel. It's now just April.

How can I wait it for until November? Oh, No...

Hopefully I can see powerful dunk of Seung-Jun Lee ♥p♥ soon.

I'm paying my attention to him which team he will go to ;)

I'll go to watch his new home ground match even it's held in the countryside.

I think I'm going to buy season pass!! XD

  

2nd assignment-My best friend, Ji-Eun Kim :)

This is my best friend, Jieun Kim ♥0♥

-She knew that I'm going to write about her so she sent me many pictures to use.

And I chose some of them :)

Why I like her? There is NO reason. 

I JUST LIKE her!! ;)

We've been together for over 13 years!

We met when we were primary schoolchildren.

We were in the 1st grade and in the same class.

From then we went same primary school, middle school and also same high school :)

When we were in the 3rd grade in high school, we studied in the same class. hehe

There are tons of episodes between us!! :D

Every time we remember the events of us, we became happy and smile.

We share happiness, concerns, dreams and other many things etc.

Sometime last days in childhood we fought and got angry to each other, too BUT

that is also a part of our memory :)

She is majoring in landscape architecture and she likes what she studies.

As she wants to be an architect and do works related to that,

she studies hard and does her best! :D

And also she wants to be a president of her own university.

So I call her 'JJi-Dae president' lol hehehe

I believe she make it in the future! ;)

I'll be a professor and conduct courses in special effect make-up in her university! haha 

We encourage each other even the life gets hard.

She has a gooooood personality.

She is outgoing and always trying to make people happy and laugh :)

-As see, she also sent me some funny pictures! lol

Ans she wanted me to post them too! ;)

She always make me laugh and feel comfortable.

I think I'm lucky to have a friend like her!

I thank that we met and we are best friend ♥

Hopefully our friendship will last forever!! XD 

1st assignment-Mizutaco Donburi restaurant! :)

At long last it's weekends!! Yeaaaaah!! XD

I LOVE Saturday and Sunday ♥3♥

Cuz I can have a rest at home and meet my friends. Anyway I'm FREE :)

So after busy weekdays, I feel like I'm in heaven on weekends. 

Nothing can bother me. ;)

Also there is another reason I wait for weekends.

It's Cheat Day for me. I can eat whatever I want! hehe :D
That's why I love weekends.

I think being on a diet is really really a big deal.

So I met my friends and had a delicious lunch ;)

♥ MIZUTACO DONBURI RESTAURANT ♥ in Ilsan

Me and my friend went Westerndorm in Ilsan.

Westerndom is a place kind like Lafesta, but it's new and much better I think.

Mizutaco Donburi is a Japanese Donburi restaurant.

You can enjoy delicious and various Donburi in cozy and neat interior. 

Donburi is one of Japanese food, a bowl of rice served with toppings.

There are many kinds of Donburi. It depends on toppings.

I had Mix Gacheudong and my friend had simple Kyudong. :)

Mix Gacheudong has a big fried shrimp and a pork cutlet as its topping.

And just a simple Kyudong's topping is beef chops, sirloin.

Onion, egg and special source are basic toppings.

It was really nice and delicious!! :D

As I like Japanese food like Sushi, Tacoyaki and Donburi etc, 

Mizutaco Donburi became one of my love places.

Of course, it was not the 1st visit. ;) 

First time I visited here, I had Avi Gacheudong and my friend ate Sakedong.

Avi Gacheudong's topping is fried 3 fleshy prawn.

I really love fried fleshy prawn!! So I chose this!

Sakedong has fresh salmon for its topping.

It was also great, and we had happy time in good place, here :)

That's why I went there again. hehe

Mizutaco Donburi is a chain store.

So if you see this restaurant on the road

step in to and have a delicious meal! ;)
